At Newbold Church School our tech team supports the integration and smooth running of technology across the school. 

Core Responsibilities of the NCS Tech Team

1. Supporting Teachers and Pupils

• Helping set up devices (iPads, laptops, interactive whiteboards).
• Assisting with troubleshooting basic tech issues during lessons.
• Demonstrating how to use educational software or apps.

2. Digital Leadership

• Promoting safe and responsible use of technology 
• Leading assemblies or workshops on digital citizenship.
• Acting as role models for good online behaviour.

3. Maintenance and Organisation

• Ensuring devices are charged and stored correctly.
• Keeping track of equipment and reporting faults.
• Updating software or helping with logins and passwords.

4. Staff and Parent Engagement

• Assisting with tech during school events or parent workshops.
• Creating guides or tutorials for using school platforms (like Google Classroom or Seesaw).

6. Feedback and Innovation

• Testing new apps or tools and giving feedback.
• Suggesting improvements to how tech is used in the classroom.
