Coverage and Progression
At Newbold Church School we follow the Kapow scheme of work, which breaks Art down into four key skills: Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media, Sculpture and 3D and Craft and Design.
Our progression map highlights the key curriculum areas that will be taught in each year group, and includes key information and vocabulary which links directly to the lesson objectives that classes have in their Art floor books.
