Overview
At Newbold Church School Art and Design is an important part of the children's entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum. It is our wish through the implementation of our art curriculum that pupils will have the opportunity to experience the power of creativity as part of a rich and progressive curriculum where art lessons are sequenced to build on previous learning and secure new learning successfully.
DDAT Art Exhibition. 29th June - 3rd July 2026
Our school was invited to take part in a DDAT art exhibition titled, 'mini masterpieces.' Please find our whole school enty below and our reasoning for our design. We had so many brilliant pieces of art work, it was incredibly difficult to choose which pieces to display. The exhibition will be open to the public 30th June - 3rd July, 3pm-6pm at the Markeaton Street University of Derby Campus.
