Year 5 (23/24)
Art - Tie dye and sewing, Summer term 2022
We have had a lot of fun this half term creating our own craft projects! First we started by creating our own mood boards. We then used our boards as inspiration to choose colours for our tie dyed t-shirts. We then added a badge to our t-shirts using a shape, fabric and thread that matched our mood boards. Don't our finished pieces look amazing? Well done Year 3!
Forest Schools Autumn term 2021
Oh my, it was chilly but not one complaint from the children but the hot choc was welcomed!
We kept busy and all the children engaged with the task of using their tying skills to make a square. Some great effort considering we had cold fingers.
The children were engaged straight away and worked together to garden, cook, climb and explore. All got involved with learning to tie a clove hitch and persevered to to be able to attach their rope to a stick
There was a lot creativity as they made their own "forest sticks" by attaching leaves to a stick.
The children explored and were keen to swing, use the hammock and find bugs!
