| FOUNDATIONS | Children will learn to solve problems by working through a logical process. They will learn how search engines work and how they rank results. They will learn to conduct Boolean searches. Pupils will learn to use selection and random selection in programming which will enable them to create quiz games. |
| APPLICATIONS | Children will use Sketch Up to create 3D representations of buildings. Children will use a variety of applications to combine, edit and manipulate digital images. Pupils will use Excel to create spreadsheets to work out simple costings. Pupils will use Powerpoint but they will learn to use action and hyperlink facilities in a fun way to create a multi-levelled game. |
| IMPLICATIONS | Children will learn the application of technology in design, construction, engineering and manufacturing. They will be taught to evaluate digital content by considering plausibility, considering sources and taking into account human error. |
